Stumbled across this article on Slate about a photo series of a camp where boys who don't conform to gender norms and their parents can go and celebrate themselves. (It's NOT a camp to get them to dress "normally", though unfortunately I'm sure those exist too).

Some really touching photos here. I do worry about these boys being identified from this sort of wide-spread attention and being bullied, but on the other hand they shouldn't have to hide. Also, it has a very pageant like take on femininity (at least from the photos) which is not without its problems. But then again, if that's the sort of interests your kid has, there probably aren't a ton of safe places for them to explore that.
