Occasionally, there are issues with AOL addresses receiving ASD emails. I highly recommend registering with a non-AOL email address, if you have one.

AOL and Yahoo are just e-hazzards these days.

*chuckle*
I still have an AOL address from the 90s. It's not useful, but I kept it for the retro vibe. Plus, it's handy for mailing lists I only feel like checking once or twice a year. :-D

I still have my yahoo address from that time too. I cleared out everything I could so when spammers inevitably break in there is nothing there for them to use. Once in a while someone who hasn't emailed me in 10 years will pop up there.

I don't know how well AOL maintains things, but yahoo is like floating space junk IMHO.

I have been futzing with preferences to repel spam bots. If you are a person who could not join, email Diva at AllStarDoms dot net with your info for assistance.

I worked on junk Ymail a few years ago
We got 1200M pieces/day (should be billions by now)
82% were spam. Crapola signal to noise.

Most domains (Gmail included) are all in the 80s. It is the noise shaping that makes the difference.

Hotmail always takes the cake
